Here's my completely revamped blade.

Personality:
Eric is cocky, confident, and hearty. His naivety when it comes to fighting proper supervillains hasn't stopped his recent endeavors, and he's become quite apt at improvising in a situation to combat non-Vampiric foes.

He is also rather sociable, preferring to work as a team rather than on his own for the most part. Although, this is no reflection of his ability, he just finds loneliness depressing.

Appearance: Eric stands at 5 foot 9 and has a fit physique. His hair is a dark black, matching the small moustache he has that he every now and then shaves off. He has various scars and remnants of past wounds littering his body, although the only obvious one is the scar that breaks his hairline on the left side, ending just at the back of his head. His eyes are a sharp yellow and resemble cats eyes. 

Fashion-wise Eric doesn't really follow trends. He usually wears a pair of black jeans, trainers, and a band t-shirt. 

He doesn't explicitly have a costume, although he has modified a jacket to accommodate for the harness for his two swords. He has also been known to wear a pair of black-tinted aviator sunglasses when fighting at night, although these are primarily to hide his eyes so as to not confuse any allies into thinking that he was an enemy Vampire. He usually wears a bullet-proof vest over his shirt as well, although it is light enough to allow for proper movement.
Affiliation: None - has aided SHIELD every now and then though. 
Powers:
Blade is half-vampire, and, as a result of his father being an extremely powerful vampire, retains all of the benefits of a vampire without many of the disadvantages. In fact, the only real disadvantage is his needs for blood, which can be sated every month with a blood bag.

His physiology grants him an enhanced version of the human body. He can lift more, run faster, jump higher, and react quicker than your average human, among other things. Furthermore, Eric has a healing factor that can heal most wounds up to lost limbs. For example, a deep cut could be healed no problem, but were he to lose an arm he would not be able to heal it back.

Finally, Eric has a much longer lifespan than a human. Although this hasn't really benefited him yet.
Weapons:
Eric has access to a variety of weapons due to his affiliation with the Nightstalkers. His main and most signature weapon is his adamantium blade. He also carries a less durable, titanium sword on him as a backup. 

Other than his swords, Eric has been known to carry a variety of firearms depending on the situation. Furthermore, if he is dealing with a Vampire he may carry a variety of other paraphernalia, for example cloves of garlic or bottled sunlight. 
Weaknesses: 
While much more durable than the average human, if put through enough punishment Eric will die just as a human would. Furthermore, if deprived of blood for long enough he will die of emaciation.

Backstory:
Eric was born as the son of Lucas Cross, a powerful Vampire and a waitress whom he'd seduced. After being born, Eric was sought out by Jamal Afari, a vampire hunter who had been on Lucas' trail for a while and had discovered the circumstances surrounding Eric's birth. Jamal explained everything to Eric's mother, who took a bit of convincing and a few months of getting to know Jamal before she allowed Eric to be trained by him as the first Dhampir Vampire hunter.

Eric was brought up primarily under the training of the Nighstalkers, a Vampire hunting guild, with only brief visits to his mother throughout the years until her eventual death. Under the Nighstalkers he was trained in various martial arts and in the use of various weapons. By the age of 14 he was going out on various missions to defeat Vampires and destroy their covens around the world with Jamal. At the age of 16 he was experienced enough to go on his own missions and was quickly becoming the Nighstalkers most useful recruit.

Throughout this time he yearned to leave the Nighstalkers though. He wanted to see the outside world without the lens of Vampire hunting. He left them at the age of 18, travelling the world afterwards and discovering the various cultures and people throughout. However, an event in Greek forced Eric to re-unite with the Nighstalkers.

Eric encountered the living Vampire Morbius for the first time. The battle was long and bloody, with Eric sustaining a scar along the side of his head. In the end Morbius got away, but not without Eric managing to take samples of his blood to test on.

With the help of the Nighstalkers, he discovered that Morbius is no ordinary vampire. He was in fact, mostly human with only the traits of a Vampire. Eric's main goal from then on was to find and recruit Morbius into the Nighstalkers.

As of right now Eric has been keeping his former team on a loose lead, only partly operating with them while travelling and hunting Vampires on his own. He has also encountered a few super-villains during his time, and has even worked with SHIELD on a few occasions.

Special Skills: Having been trained in the art of combat by Jamal Afari, Eric is proficient in most forms of martial arts along with swordsmanship and is an expert marksman.
