It starts out like any other JRPG – except this time, there aren’t any heroes to interfere. 

[b]Not Your Hero[/b] is the story of a valiant and wealthy kingdom’s princess as she finds herself captured by one of the servants of a malevolent sorcerer who will stop at nothing to have her for his own ends. This servant, or “henchman” as the Princess prefers is a brutal member of the evil sorcerer’s vanguard, an accursed knight who will abide by his master’s will. The perspective will take shape as time goes on, perhaps the princess will cut through the knight’s blackened shell or escape from his grasp before they arrive at their destination. The progress of the story is dependent on the partner and how two minds create scenarios to keep the plot interesting, but largely this is more of a character-driven affair than a plot-driven one.[/indent]
