Four after the church with the bronze steeple. She counted shop signs. Two, three if you count the half broken pub banner. There it was - the alley made of brick, with one brick missing on the very last row. Ivory looked up at the sun. She was a little later than she had anticipated because of the wheel breaking but not so late that she would miss her meeting. She lifted the hood of her cloak and glanced around her before entering the alley. She walked to the end until she reached a stack of wood pallets. She pushed them aside, revealing a small lever. She pulled the lever and stood back. A small section of the wall in front of her popped out. She opened the door and took the staircase in front of her down, entering another alleway, this one underground. She jogged to the end and knocked on the heavy metal door in front of her. "Password" a deep voice boomed. "Cerberus" she answered. There was a brief pause before the door slid open and a massive ogre stood in it's place. He towered over her with a scowl. In response, she smiled. "Loro. It's been too long," she greeted him with a slight hug. "Has my item arrived?" The ogre simply nodded in response, never being a man of many words. He turned and Ivory followed. The room was bustling with men and species of every kind in various gambling exploits. The air smelled strongly of hookah and a culmination of illegal potions. Loro directed her to a back room. He shut the door behind him after they entered. He then pulled a dark chest out from under a panel in the floor. He held the lock until it popped open; a lock that was likely sealed by Fae magic. He opened the top and pulled out a dark velvet bag and handed it to Ivory. She briefly glanced inside. "I assume it's in mint condition?" He nodded again. She then reached inside her cloak and pulled out a tiny bag. "Ten Fae enchanted diamonds, as promised." She handed him the bag. "Has, uh.....has he.....?" She trailed off. Loro just shook his head. "I figured," she responded. "Well, I'm all set. Thank you for this. We'll have to get together when it's not a matter of business sometime." She smiled and hugged him again. She waded her way back through the room and up to the surface of the town with the contents of her recent purchase hidden safely away.
