Denizens of Vilra perceive him as a “bloodknight” due to his infamy and affiliation, though it is really just a catchall for an “evil” battlemage.[/indent] [sub][color=575876][b]Description[/b][/color][/sub] [indent]Soneillon is the servant of the dark lord known as Azrael, a black-hearted sorcerer that seeks to diminish the power of the light and heighten his influence over the celestial kingdoms of Vilra. He is known for his incredible physical and magical abilities as well as representing one of the most dangerous criminals in recent history. In appearance his armor is the only known facet of his identity as he has never revealed his face to any of the heroes he has battled. Due to the dark magic that encompasses his armor his voice is distorted into a demonic like reverb. His armor is adorned with a dark blue cape and cowl and his helmet shows no sign of humanity. Most denizens of the kingdoms of Vilra presume “the bloodknight” to be a shell of armor that Azrael himself commands from his dark tower, though the truth of this is decidedly false.[/indent] [sub][color=575876][b]Personality[/b][/color][/sub] [indent]Soneillon is a man of little words, though he hasn’t had someone personable in many years to strike a conversation he thinks is worth having. The people of Vilra view him as a silent, menacing figure and he finds it of some amusement they think he is a suit of armor wandering the lands heeding the call of Azrael’s magical whims. But Soneillon doesn’t care about people’s perspective of his existence or demeanor and that opinion carries on to his fellow “comrades in arms” that he has worked with in the past to gather magical items for Azrael’s collection. Honestly, what keeps Soneillon beating on is his resolve and determination to bring vengeance and suffering upon those that deserve it; though he never speaks on this to his enemies. He has no intention on discussing things with those who cross swords with him as he has resolve that goes beyond doubt; he has no insecurities when it comes to his purpose. That said, Soneillon does not like his “master” nor does he align with his needless schemes to gain absolute power and cripple the kingdoms of the world. Really, he finds Azrael’s pursuits arbitrary and superfluous, though he would never speak of that to anyone. Soneillon has no friends and he likes it that way. The last time he had friends he suffered worse than a thousand knives and he does not ever [i]ever[/i] want to face that kind of pain again. He’s made it certain that he won’t.[/indent] [h3]Talents & Affinities[/h3][hr][sub][color=575876][b]Mundane Abilities[/b][/color][/sub] [indent]Master Swordsman [color=gray][sub]Soneillon has held a sword since he was a boy of three and ten and has served as a hedge knight up to the point that he was recruited by the dark sorcerer, Azrael. Since serving as Azrael’s “bloodknight” he has fought countless adventurers and would-be heroes in his mission to gather magical items. Azrael has remarked that even before Soneillon joined his service as his finest warrior he was most likely the most naturally skilled swordsman of his generation.[/sub][/color][/indent] [sub][color=575876][b]Magical Abilities[/b][/color][/sub] [indent]Alteration Magic [color=gray][sub]Otherwise known as the ability to use magic to enchant items with extranormal effects and invoke teleportation abilities, Soneillon’s primary spellcasting depends on the alteration school of magic. He often uses this to transmutate his armor or his sword though he has on occasion used it in other capacities such as creating an opening in a dungeon or fiddle with the makeup of an enemy’s weapon. [/sub][/color] Abjuration Magic [color=gray][sub]There comes times when Soneillon needs to protect himself with magical energy from another sorcerer or a mob of archers. Whilst Soneillon’s focus is on alteration magic it is clear that abjuration is his secondary focus right after it (with evocation and the rest following). Soneillon can create massive barriers that surround him in a sphere and as long as he focuses can move freely until his stamina runs low.[/sub][/color] Evocation Magic [color=gray][sub]Soneillon often needs to rely on distance spells to deal with large mobs of enemies thus it is one of the reasons he has become a capable sorcerer within the evocation school of magic. Relying on utilizing cosmic magical energies to create lightning bolts, fireballs, and sudden gusts of wind, Soneillon can deal with a contingent of armed guards or use such magic to create an opening for a tactical retreat.[/sub][/color] Restoration Magic [color=gray][sub]The weakest of four schools of magic when it comes to Soneillon's competency and knowledge. But healing wounds with magic is ideal for any combatant.[/sub][/color][/indent]
