The poor guy… Airi couldn’t help but feel bad for him as he pulled himself from the couch with her help. He was exhausted and it was now very visible, maybe it was because he was at his own home so he didn’t need to put on his ‘mask’ per say. Once to his feet, the two quietly exited the living room, the boys snoring echoing behind them as they climbed the stairs. While she helped him climb the stairs, she took in the nearly empty house. Kakashi’s history was kind of a mystery but enough was known and shared from him that he had been there since he was 13. How he didn’t have more things up on his wall was a bit bewildering. Just simply because he had traveled so much, she expected to see more; a mental note was made in her mind, maybe she could convince Ana to do a painting that would be worthy of going up in his house. A closed lip smile moved across her face as she settled on the idea in her mind. The room that was his was simple but had more than the hallway. During the venture to the bed, Airi smiled at the picture. It was a bit surprising to see something like that, a sentimental value but then again this was his private life. As she let him go she took in the room a bit more before her blue gaze moved back to him as he thanked her. A gentle smile parted her lips showing her straight white teeth. “I’m not that sleepy.” She said with a nod before she retrieved the chair and sat it next to the head of his bed. “You, on the other hand, are tired.” A nod rose and fell her head as she placed her hands on his shoulder and gave him a gentle push. “Just lie down and rest easy. You deserve it.” When she finally got him down onto the bed she closed the gap between her chair and the bed before gently running the fingers of her right hand through his silver hair. “Thank you… for saving me Kakashi.” Her voice was soft, honest and sincere as she gently played with his hair. You were battered and bruised after fighting an incredibly dangerous assassin. Your team was mentally and physically exhausted. And yet you came. You came from me without seeking any back up; you probably didn’t even tell anyone you were going. You just… came. You were in no condition to fast travel, you were in no condition to fight and yet, you came… Her expressions said almost everything she was thinking as she stroked his head except one, You keep this up, I might get my hopes up…
