The pain in his legs was hot but it wasn't enough for him to loosen his grip on the hostage. What was enough though, was a powerful wind that had pushed against him while simultaneously pulling her from his grasp. The collar of her shirt ripped and she flew into the arms of his sidekick. I can feel it, he thought. There was a callousness, a switch called survival that would let him do anything to keep moving forward. A dark chuckle resonated in his throat as he stood. "So quick to disperse your justice. I should kill you now, Number Seven. Show everyone how stupid and weak you are." He glanced behind him and noticed his lack of backup. Useless, didn't they hear my orders? They had sealed their fates as well, for small-time criminals who were supposedly working for Black Tree, they sure abandoned those above them quick enough. He could feel a rage starting to boil just thinking about it. He was being underestimated, undervalued, and blatantly disrespected. Starting today, he would show his worth and grit. He would introduce SkyFall to the world. Shade Walker said they could do whatever they wanted, kill or anything of the sort, long as they got the money. He figured there was no wrong moves in this initial mission, only the opportunity for growth. All the same, those burglars would have to die sooner or later if his vision of control and power was to be realized. SkyFall found the pain in his legs bearable, he'd ask Flatline to fix him up later if possible. As the spear was hurled towards him, he bounded backwards into the bank. He dusted himself off and begun to pluck the petals from his legs. As he strode towards Flatline, he glanced back to see if Number Seven would enter after him. He sighed to himself. "Nothing I can't handle. I suppose I underestimated this situation." He approached Flatline as she helped out the criminals. What a waste of our strength and skills, to help these peons who couldn't even be the footsoldiers they were hired to be. "One of the heroes has a wind quirk and his sidekick is dressed as a samurai. I imagine her quirk is something along those lines. This should be fun." The mirth in his voice lessened. "Also, forgive me for straying from you, I got ... excited. I'm sticking to the plan from here on out."
