I think I'll post Velma as a possible. She was made for another RP but I can adapt her quickly enough just thought I'd post her as is before working on adaptation

(Limitation) She can create plants out of thin air but the power needed to do so is made greater or lesser by local conditions; Cacti in the Desert Easy, Kelp in the Desert extremely Difficult
Gaia can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers. She can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants.
She can use her power for defense and support by growing plants from the ground and make them sprout seeds/fruits/berries, {or even to possibly use plant chemicals to heal people or objects or manipulate their properties for a wide range of effects.} (this is an area that she’s aware is possible but hasn’t got a handle on yet)
Gaia may use this ability in a series of offensive techniques on a target. Using the plants as weapons to grasp and strike continuously with vines and roots, project thorns at a distance, and quickly regenerate the withering weapons based on Gaia’s will. She can make vines grow and climb around a target's neck, causing choking, or even strike with plants. A more subtle technique is to release damaging toxins and pheromones, affecting targets in which conditions should be treated quickly with ailments.
[b][u]Botanical Communication[/u][/b]
Gaia can communicate with all forms of plant-life, including flowers, trees, fruits, vegetables, pollen, etc. telepathically speaking, or by touching it physically. Plants can tell the her of what happened or what is happening, like helping them track someone from a long distance away, etc.
[b][u]Enhanced Healing Rate / Unusual Biology[/u][/b]
Gaia is able to photosynthesise sunlight as energy and breaths in CO2 and exhales Oxygen her biology more akin to a plant than a mammal. It is her biology that makes her better able to heal from grevious wounds such as limb loss or other; it also means she is immune to most illnesses and heals at about twice the rate a normal human would so long as she has plenty of sunlight and water.   
 
[color=seagreen]Important info:[/color] Velma is a known Mutant because her Mother was a Mutant as well whose power was openly used as a member of a British Hero Team and her call sign was Nera a woman whose body was nearly invulnerable; She died saving the Isle of Man from some nut who was pissed he was caught before he could get the nuke he was carrying to London. Like a soldier in a trench spotting an enemy grenade Velma’s mom threw herself on the nuke containing it’s blast and other effects.
Not often a Hero dies in the line of duty and on International sports news and then the main stream because it happened in front of the camera’s there for the races held on the Island every year. Most would agree that she deserved the state funeral she received but many might also agree that the politicians 8 years ago made it a political spectacle more for their own benefit. 
Many would know Velma at least once standing at age 12 in an eruption of her botanical talent by her mother’s grave. 
If you watched SINN (Special Investigation News Network…..TMZ) then you know she’s been practicing international Aide using her talent to feed people in disaster areas. She’s also a favorite Meta Babe discussion piece because besides talent she is an actual Lady of Rank and her picture alone worth 10 to 20 thousand hits.
Strangely even under so intensive a scrutiny few have guessed that she is an intelligence source of the crown though not yet an official member of those services. Velma served this function because in her work as a food supply asset she encountered Warlords early on  and developed a dislike for their type.
 Untrained in combat Velma has shown a natural affinity to its practice especially in close quarters even making for a passable self taught quarter stave user.
Velma has worked since the age of 15 as an aide worker involved major recovery projects around the world when not involved in going to school where she just finished a Mechanical Engineering degree. (Her focus is the area of Hydroponics)
