Both have their merits. While I've personally always been a user of the "accept 'em as they come" method, I think the latter method lends itself to a bit more organization. For one, setting a deadline gives people an idea of what time they should have their CS in, and you'll see all that you have to work with by that time. Only real problem is people only finding this on deadline day. Unfair to late comers, but with a far away enough deadline, I'm sure anyone active enough to make a commitment will have seen it with ample time to put out a character sheet. Also gives you time to work on a general IC post, as well as (hopefully) a sizable pool of entries to choose from. [s]And you could also reply to our 1v1.[/s] But that's just my contrived, and also shit, opinion. Maybe that method is better suited for roleplays with smaller groups in mind. Shoot me.
