You could tell that there was something...odd about him when he saw that message, almost as if it reminded him of something. However, he quickly shrugged it off and went back to questioning her. He was not really hesitating in any of his speech, but it was clear that he wasn't the type to really force anything either from anybody. It was almost as if he may had actually cared about the suspects. With someone who's been a detective for so long though, you couldn't really be sure with him, he would have some days where he was a complete and utter dick, and others where he was the nicest guy in the whole department.
