Bio/Personality: Sarah was born in a small, rural town in the Midwest, home to corn fields, cow ranches and very little else. She was the third of four children born to the town’s veterinarians, a married couple that were always kept busy not only by the town’s pets but also the wildlife rescue operation they operated out of their barn. Sarah grew up in close proximity to local fauna of all kinds, and while her siblings grew sick of the constant furry companionship, Sarah always loved animals of every kind and spent long hours watching her parents work.

When she graduated high school, her excellent grades and a particularly interesting senior project on hawk rescues earned her a scholarship to the Solaris Universatas to study Zoology and Biology. As academic environments went, it was a bit stuffy for her, but nevertheless she received one of the best educations possible in her chosen field – upon graduating, she managed to snag an internship with the Sol City Zoo, and later, a full position as a professional zookeeper. She rose to local prominence when the Zoo’s famously grumpy grizzly bear Peanutbutter took an immediate shine to her – she became his head caretaker, and the hilarious shows she performs rolling around and wrestling with her furry friend (who she jokingly refers to as her boyfriend) became one of the Zoo’s most popular attractions. Now, she continues to work as a zookeeper, tending to and caring for the animals and living with her brother and several friends from college in a slightly cramped apartment on the Western Shore.

Personality wise, Sarah is compassionate, extroverted, and sharp as a tack. She’ll happily offer her opinions on any subject, whether or not they were asked for, and views the world with a weary sarcasm and quick observational wit. She’s been accused of preferring animals to people, and while that may sometimes be true, it’s a bit misleading; she loves people, it’s people who feel the need to show off, talk down to her or pretend to be something they’re not she can’t stand. Despite her argumentative nature and her tendency to form fast opinions of people, she really is a sweetheart to people she thinks are nice; always willing to laugh or lend a hand, always eager to help out someone in need of help. Sarah loves to laugh and to make other people laugh, and though she wouldn’t admit it, she does enjoy being the center of attention.
