The immediate danger and concerns were knowable and for a woman of twenty and eight, Sibela wasn’t fresh out of her training as a royal guard. There were so many questions the blonde-haired hylian had, but she wasn’t exactly in a position to think about what she needed to do for long. She knew Telma’s Bar quite well given that she had routinely thrown imbeciles and drunkards (usually both at the same time) out of the establishment at the behest of the tavern’s bartender and serving maids. She continued down a cobbled city street, remaining deep in thought. What would you do, Ukal? Her old mentor had retired from the guard for two years now, choosing to live a life as a fisherman off the shores of Lake Hylia. There was no doubt in her mind that the old hylian would have the right answer in mind: how to coordinate the guard and save the queen from harm. Sibela never was as good with people as Ukal had been and it had been one of her defining flaws. She was a good guardsmen, sure, but was she a great one? Suddenly, such doubts in her head were cut out by a loud scream and her instincts kicked in. “Halt!” Her eyes snapped front-and-center and her brows narrowed. That’s when she saw a woman with a flaming sword that had cornered a man and someone else that was hard to make out. Her hand immediately went to her sword as she stepped forward, trying to get a handle on what exactly was going on. When her eyes met that of the flash of fire and steel, she sighed. The few knights she knew by reputation or personal accord that had magical abilities were few and she definitely didn’t think the show of force was necessary. It was needless and excessive, but she wasn’t going to step on another guard’s business especially when she had more pressing matters to deal with. If the queen’s message was telling the truth then it meant Sibela would have to work against the King and her prominent career as a member of the capital’s defensive force was over. She shook her head to look for the well the queen spoke of.
