David Cage makes bad games. The best one was Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy and that pretty much flushed the story down the toilet when it suddenly turned into Indigo-Ball Z.
Well now the best one is Detroit: Beyond Human by virtue of just being boring instead of wildly idiotic like Beyond and Indigo and hilariously inept like Heavy Rain. The worst thing about Detroit is how uninterested it is in doing anything interesting with its premise and instead decides that Androids tagging "We have a dream" is somehow not the most heavy handed bullshit ever. It doesn't go to the depths of the David Cage shit zone so unlike the others which at least have moments that people remember for the wrong reasons, Detroit is gonna be known as "The time David Cage didn't understand racism" and be forgotten about in a month's time. Like every other David Cage game. Although like Heavy Rain, Detroit straight up fucking lies to you in order to have a plot twist so fuck you for doing that again Cage. That's not how you write plot twists.
If people really want interactive stories then someone needs to revive the Choose Your Own Adventure genre.
That's literally Detroit down to the game telling you what pages to flip to to get a new outcome.
