"Oh, Rocko…" Kaito said, the tone in his voice betraying his surprise and excitement. "I… I actually don't think I do…"

And then he lifted the stack of firewood over his shoulder with surprising ease, which was weird considering there were some [i]big[/i] pieces of wood in there, and turned to Hiroko, finally revealing his wide-eyed, shocked expression.

"I… think I might have superpowers…"

And it was only then, when he said it to another person, that he realised it wasn't just his brain playing tricks on him. He, even being the skinny little toothpick of a human being that he was, was able to lift enough wood to put him on par with a heavyweight wrestler.

"I think I might have superpowers!" He shouted again, this time with a steadily growing grin. "How am I doing this?! I don't have the muscles for this!"

He blinked for a moment, coming back to his senses when he realised she hadn't finished talking.

"Oh, right, yeah. The lighter probably [i]will[/i] come in handy. Thanks Rocko! But now… Now I'm intrigued… How did I get super strong? Was it to do with whatever brought us here? And the real kicker, is is possible that the rest of you might have powers as well?"

And then he started walking back to the shrine, still in a state of surprise over how easily he could carry all that wood.

"Anyway, yeah." He said. "I'll be fine with all this wood. We should probably get back inside though. Don't wanna get stuck outside once the sun is down, after all!"
