Part of that was because everyone wanted to take her [i]alive at all costs[/i], and her philosophy was to [i]just shoot them[/i].

+She also did technically get overrun in the first 15 seconds by 40 people... but then she kinda called in a gunship to strafe her own postition... and detonate the airship... causing it to crash into the sea with all hands Hindenburg-style...
-Now she's "captured" (surrendered to avoid killing everyone) but the gaurds [i]kinda fear her at this point[/i].

Had another character that seemed to specialize in shooting people off their soap-box mid-rant/monolouge to the point it became a running-joke.
