His steps had a sort of skip to them as they descended the stairs and eventually came upon a room. He scanned the room quickly. A burial site... though that much was obvious since this was a catacomb. If there wasn't a single dead body here, then it was a cause for alarm.

What did set off him off was the fact that there was a fresh pool of blood beneath their feet once they got off the staircase. That meant someone or something was in here before them, and he doubted they went out. Gabriel walked forward and looked towards each hallway. So, water or air... but they didn't exactly know which one was where. Hey, maybe it came from the same cave right? Though that was certainly unlikely.
