There was no hiding the disappointment in Kai's expression as she dared to strike out against their usual. She didn't have it in her to admit that his mention of the black sea was hat scared her away from the water, and for a moment, she felt a pang of guilt as he mentioned surfing and their typical treats. Kai was never the type to strike out from the norm or go out of his comfort zone, so it wasn't unusual to get some resistance. Honestly, she was happily surprised when he would concede, and she clapped her hands together excitedly. "Well, our Berry Jelly Dogs can come after, like always," She gently offered the compromise, if only to make sure Kai wasn't going completely out of his way. "And as for exploring...I'm curious to know what it was you saw on your way here. We can go along the train tracks and go through the Underground Concourse on foot." Despite it initially starting as a suggestion, Aira's mind had already been set, and once Kai's surfboard was safe in the hut, the pair walked together to the station. Instead of boarding, however, the two would instead follow the tracks leading into one of the tunnels. Her initial curiosity waned slightly as the pair stood before the large entrance, the lack of light slightly intimidating. Biting her lip nervously, she moved closer to Kai. "It was through here that you saw it, right?" She asked him quietly, her voice echoing around them.
