That's what was disappointing about the reboot, the fact they had the aesthetics all nailed down, the soundtrack (not the Skrillex theme, by the way - which I felt was far from subtle and too in your face and obnoxious), the art direction, they even had Brian Cox turn up and lend his voice acting talent to the game. 

All the right components were there, and I wasn't even too bothered that they made it into a first-person shooter, it's just that it wasn't a [i]particularly good[/i] first-person shooter. If it had the depth of the original isometric strategy game it was based on, then I would have been far more forgiving of it.
