While there was plenty of cool things she wanted, she needed to be practical and think of things she could actually fit on her suit without compromising it’s weight. She also had to consider if she wanted to add gadgets to improve her suit’s abilities, or give her more utility. So many ideas and she didn’t know where to start! Fortunately Haruka knows a good place to find inspiration: the Absolute Territory! It was a huge shopping mall that caters to superheroes and fans. She was sure she could find some books or tech she could add to her suit and make it better. If nothing else, it’ll be nice to get out of her room for a little while. She had been spending most of her time either doing school work or working on her own stuff. So after putting on some clothes she headed out to the Absolute Territory. Things seemed peaceful as she was heading into the city but it wasn’t long before she noticed some police and crowds. She thought it might be a villain or a crime scene and sure enough she found herself in front of an alley. It looks like there was a big fight here as parts of the ground, walls, and buildings had been gouged out. There was some people talking about what happened and Haruka heard a few words, namely words like “Komei”, “Red Swordsman”, “Rubber Girlr”, and “Stuttering Kid”. ”Oh shit,” Haruka muttered to herself. The destruction present in front of her was already shocking enough, but the words being thrown around worried her even more than that. Komei, Rubber Girl, and Stuttering Kid? Were here classmates involved in this? Just what had happened here, and who was the Red Swordsman being talked about? Haruka swallowed a lump that had formed in her throat the more she considered what was going on, and cursed silently at her inability to call her suit from so far away. Maybe if she was lucky, and if something bad had happened, she could at least find something else around to manipulate. Carefully, Haruka moved past the citizens discussing the events, not entirely willing to ask any of them what had happened. Maybe not the smartest move, but she was more focused on the actual scene ahead. She entered the alley, looking around for anything that might have left a trail as to where who she expected were Yukari and Donny had gone. As far as crimes scenes go, this place wasn’t too gruesome. However there was obvious signs of a battle, and a violent one at that. Near many dents in the walls were smidges of black sludge, almost tar like in consistency. And then there was the large splatter of blood on the ground. Though it was mostly congealed at this point, there was still a red gleam that would make it unmistakable. Wasn’t long before a police officer approached Haruka. “Hey, this area is off limits. You’re interfering with a crime scene, please leave.” The sight of blood put a twisting knot in Haruka’s stomach. Someone had been hurt, and pretty badly at that. She hoped it wasn’t either of her friends, but judging by the sheer amount of damage, she couldn’t imagine either of them had gotten out unscathed. She was about to continue before the officer came by, and she jumped a bit at the sudden interruption. After taking a breath to catch her composure, she raised her hands. ”W-wait! I-I’m a student at Komei, a-and I overheard some people saying, uh, other students that I know were involved? D-do you know what happened to them?” She asked, quickly scouring her pockets to find her student I.D. to present to the cop. The cop gave Haruka a hard look, but then sighed and soften his expression. “Unfortunately I’m not at liberty to tell you what happened here. All I can say is that a violent crime happened here, and a few people have been taken to the hospital. Now please, leave. I don’t want you to get into any trouble.” The cop told Haruka firmly, but in a soft tone. He was sympathetic but he had a job to do too. Haruka was still extremely nervous, but she at least had somewhere to go. She nodded and bowed her head, muttering a quick ”Thank you,” to the officer. At that, she left the alley and made her way through the crowd once more. ”Hospital, okay. Shit, I hope they’re alright…” She silently thought, wasting no time in taking off towards the nearest bus stop that had a route to Hosu’s emergency treatment center. Though her ride was silent, she spent the entire time worrying about the well-being of Yukari and Donny. Though she hadn’t been too active in keeping up with anyone lately, she hated the thought of two of the people she had grown most comfortable around being hurt at all, let alone as severely as the crime scene seemed to imply. The blood splatter was already bad enough, but Haruka’s anxiety bolstered the thoughts of what could have gone badly to new levels. Soon enough, the bus stopped, and she booked it towards the hospital’s front door. She didn’t bother waiting in line, running to one of the attendants that was sitting at the front desk with a “please speak to other attendant” sign in front of them. Once more, she whipped out her student I.D., slapping it down onto their desktop while she breathed heavily from her run up to the desk. ”I-I’m sorry, b-but do you know if a girl n-named Yukari and a boy named Donny are here? T-they’re my classmates, a-and my friends, and I-I heard they got hurt a-and got taken here and…” she trailed off, only a whimper of distress following, as tears welled up in her eyes. Before she’d get a response a somewhat familiar face would arrive to the hospital. It was hard to miss her: it was Dulga. She didn’t even bother to stop and talk to a receptionist and just ran right upstairs in a big hurry. The receptionist seemed a bit shocked but got back to Haruka. “I don’t have anyone by those names on file. They may have just arrived or they might not be in this hospital.” The receptionist said calmly. Haruka’s attention switched to Dulga for a moment. Seeing another Komei student here was reassuring in all the wrong ways. Something bad had happened, but at least she was in the right spot. As Dulga vanished up the staircase, Haruka’s tears started to overflow, and she looked back to the receptionist with an expression that read as desperation. But she believed what the receptionist had to say, so she nodded and bowed her head a little before taking her I.D. and starting up the stairs herself, failing to physically keep up with where the other girl was going, but coming upon the floor where emergency rooms were set up soon enough. She swiftly walked in, I.D. in hand, and began searching for Yukari and Donny’s room by peeking through open doors as she strode past them. Hosu’s hospital might’ve not been as big as some in the other major Tokyo wards, but it was still big enough that Haruka would have a hard time searching through all the rooms on the second floor alone before it got late. But as Haruka was looking around, she’d hear a scream coming from down the hall. It was girlish, and soon there was some loud sobbing. It sounded like Yukari. The scream sent a chill of utter terror down Haruka’s spine. As fast as she could, she ran down the hall, following the sobbing to the room that it had come from. She nearly stumbled turning into the doorway, and once she was there, she called out to her friend. ”Y-Yukari?!” Haruka asked, her heart pounding and her thoughts racing.
