With weapon in hand, Kai was unstoppable. The shadows stood no chance against him, and with a single swoop, he eliminated them. Aira found her jaw dropping at the ease of his moves, it had come to him so naturally. She should have been used to it watching his Struggle matches, but none of that held a candle to this. As the shadows vanished, tiny little hearts floated away, released from their dark hold. If Kai hadn't vanquished them, would that have been their fate? Would they have lost their own hearts, too? The realization formed a pit in her stomach, but when all was set and done, the quietness returned. Aira let out a breath she wasn't aware she was holding, her look of amazement mixing in with pure awe. He was like a knight in shining armor...sans armor...and with corny lines. Kai voiced his own relief, snapping her out of her daze. "Y-Yeah...thanks to you," She had to give him credit where it was due, though her eyes trailed over to the weapon in his hand. "That's...a Key..." Despite never seeing it before in her life, she knew exactly what it was. But how? Furrowing her brow for a moment, she approached Kai, gingerly touching his arm. "Maybe we should get out of here before more of those things showed up...what if they're in town?" She asked, unable to quite hide the worry in her voice.
