Just don't cause any more grief for me or the next time you'll be paying an arm and a leg." was how the girl replied to his statement. Considering her tone, he almost wasn't sure if she had intended to make a joke there, but if it wasn't she would've had to be really dim, which is something he didn't want to think of her as without cause. He smiled a bit, stifling the laughter that was trying to come out as a result of the contrast between her appearance and tone to the nature of the joke. It really was something. "Alright, alright, I will not actively seek to cause you grief. Probably." if he'd said he wasn't without uncertainty, then he might be a liar. As they approached the nurse's office, Toru briefly contemplated informing his escort that this trip was pretty meaningless. What would a school nurse even do? Put a band-aid on a missing limb? Wouldn't it be better to take him to a hospital? Then again, it was a hero academy, so probably the nurse might've had some kind of healing quirk, like his own mother. Not that that mattered, though. A missing limb wasn't anything serious to Toru, so the effort was wasted regardless. It was probably best not to reveal this to her. Thankfully, although somewhat disappointing as well, moments after they'd arrived Tarata suddenly left. Whatever it was the head nurse was speaking about presumably intrigued her, and so she left him with some instruction and bolted out the door. Today seems like a rather busy day for people, judging by the sudden exits I've seen so far. His observation and alone time with the nurse was quickly ended with the appearance of other individuals. Most notable of which, in his opinion, had to be the pink-haired girl who entered first, but apparently some people had been 'sparring' and had gotten injured. The girl happened to notice Toru and his lack of a limb. ”Oh no! What happened to you!? You’re missing your arm!” she exclaimed in the most straightforward way possible. It legitimately surprised him as he was expecting her to be like the others and not have a strong reaction, so it was briefly apparent on his face. He was also a bit confused as to why she was casually dismissing her own injuries as if they were nothing. Was she some kind of weirdo. Wait a second...! "U-uh, yeah, so it would seem." he would go so far as to say she'd managed to screw with him, intentionally or not, in the very way he wanted to mess with others. Toru wasn't actually too used to others getting him, so he had a hard time replying. It was pretty embarrassing, actually, and not being in control of the situation made him feel a bit nervous. "Anyways," he began, wishing to regain his composure, "I've got to hand it to you, I didn't think to downplay a serious injury was a specialty I shared with others. You and your friends can go on ahead, I'll be fine." Still, he had to wonder. How violent was this school? "...do people beat each other up in this school often, though, or is this some special circumstance?" he glanced at the black-haired catgirl? who'd remained quiet but was quite obviously one of the people who had supposedly sparred. His question, however, was more directed towards either the pink-haired girl, considering she was the more talkative of the people there or the other girl who had come with her. And as he did so, his arm suddenly grew back as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
