[indent]If anyone who doesn't know Nickie that well would have to describe the young woman in one word, the first that pops into mind is "bitch," and the second, "fierce." Though being a pretty face, Nickie has a reputation for not being the friendliest girl on the block, therefore making it very challenging to befriend her. Though keeping to herself most of the time, when the young woman does open her mouth it is either to correct or insult someone, or to make a sarcastic remark. She's very blunt and straightforward, and doesn't hesitate to put someone in their place. Her introverted nature makes her seem a bit stand-offish and cold, and the amount of time she spends looking in the mirror leads others to believe that she is conceited. She's very articulate and observant, tending to notice things about people that they may not even be consciously aware of themselves. 

With the aid of her eloquence, Nickie is very manipulative, like her mother, and finds joy in getting others to do as she pleases. Another trait she inherited from her mother is her love for the finer things such as flashy jewelry and clothing. As a result, she is a bit of a kleptomaniac and takes things without thinking. This has also led to her getting into a bit of trouble with the law in the past. Despite all of her shortcomings, Nickie is extremely dependable and protective. If she says that she is going to do something, she will do everything in her power to follow through. Though seeming to not care about much, Nickie would go to Hell and back for the people that she loves, even though she has an odd way of showing it. Underneath the multiple layers of sarcasm and bitchiness lays a warm heart and a kind soul.[/indent]

[indent]Nickie is a young lady of Nigerian descent, standing at five feet, six inches tall and weighing in at a little over one-hundred eighty pounds. Her skin is usually free of any blemishes, the only exceptions being the horizontal scar across the bridge of her nose and the freckles that lay underneath. Her natural hair is kinky, dark brown, and shoulder length. You'll usually see her with a blonde undercut, however, as she prefers to bleach it. Much of Nickie is an assertion of androgyny, from her undercut to her short nails. She enjoys wearing men's clothing, successfully proving that she can not only pull off skirts and dresses, but suits and joggers as well. Although she doesn't spend much time getting ready in the mornings, it's rare to see her in a state of disarray as she believes that she should always look prepared and presentable, especially when she's the most frazzled.[/indent]

[indent]Nickie has always gotten into fights in school, but her most recent one is what pushed her parents to their breaking point. While only walking away with a few scratches and bruises, Nickie left the other girl with a black eye, broken nose, and multiple scratches in various areas. Not only was she expelled from school, but charges were also pressed against the young woman. It took a lot of string-pulling to get the charges dropped.[/indent]

[indent]Solana Nicole was born on a cold Winter's day to Antwan and Annalise Jones, a middle-class couple living in the city. Although growing up an only child, Nickie was far from spoiled; her parents gave her what she needed and taught her to work for anything she wanted. This value that they instilled in their daughter was one of the major contributing factors to her stellar grades and strong work ethic. The only thing that proved to be her downfall was her short temper and fierce loyalty to those she cares about, something that became even more pronounced after her parents divorced. Ever since middle school, Nickie has been getting into fights with multiple boys and girls, mostly over things that could have been settled with a simple conversation, due to a bunch of pent up anger and frustration. Nickie's mother hopes that this camp will calm her down and teach her that violence isn't always the answer.[/indent]
