The sigils that encircled his eyes expanded as he looked around, trying to find something that matched the swirls of magical energy that surrounded the vessel. It was a very muddy coloration, though he figured that had more to do with his inability to read the magic properly rather than any true aspect of the storm itself(a feeling that was soon confirmed by Jamaerah through their more emphatic bond). Whatever the case, it didn't give him much to go off of when trying to find a similar source of energy on the ship, as everything seemed to blend together, covered by the haze of muddied blue grays due to the storm being able to pass through the flimsy remains of the barrier they were trying to fix. As his gaze turned back to the machine in question, he considered giving it a good ol' whack or two. He'd often seen Mona and Zeke do the same for their projects. . . with admittedly mixed results. Yeah, probably best to not do that if Mona wasn't. In which case, what could anyone present due to save the current situation? As he pondered this thought, Laz happened to glance at Sania and noted something interesting. He couldn't see their magic, at least, he couldn't see it well. It was mixing in too well with the surrounding ethereal runoff from the storm, which likely explained why he hadn't noticed her charging up her magic before. And just might be what we need to get the weather-blocking thing working again! Laz thought with a grin, puffing up his chest as he turned around and started to speak. "Let's have Sania do it. Charge the lacrima, I mean. Her magic seems to match the energy of this storm near perfectly and if she needs more, I'm sure we can figure some way to charge her back up. maybe Alex has a potion or two next to all of his beers." Laz spoke with both of his hands on his hips, trying his best to look authoritative while his hair whipped around in the wind and his body shivered involuntarily every so often. It was fuckin' freezing, and that's not even including the chill he was still trying to shake off from Sania freezing his lower half just a little while ago. Hopefully, his idea would get the weather doo-hickey working again because he wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to stand this cold.
