Name: Hank Redford Appearance: Age: 41 Personality: Hank is an old and grumpy man with a serious drinking problem. And he also has a missing leg. Two, actually. He's touchy about those. Even grumpier than he is usually. He believes that one must stand adamant against the grievances of life alone, and he respects strong individuals. However, time to time again, he comes to realize he cannot achieve this goal given his condition that binds him to his wheelchair. Pointing this out is a good way to get on his bad side. He can also be quite reckless at times, a trait that has already cost him his legs and previous NC. Backstory: Hank's childhood is lost to the ever changing river of history, as well as much of what happened before his accident. Hank calls it "amnesia", but whether he is lying or telling the truth is only for him to know. What little of those early times remains is the fact that he used to be a Corp NC pilot. A pretty good one at that. Back when he was a reckless, young hotshot. But fate didn't have his ways aligned with Hank's, and he suffered an accident he can "hardly recall". The obvious fact that he lost his legs however might not fully cover the truth. If to was the enemy or ally who wounded him remains a mistery to this day. All Hank knows was that he woke up from a coma in a hospital, tied to a bed. Whatever the Corp planned on doing with him, he wanted none of that. He freed his bounds and after no small amount of hardship that he seems to vividly remember, he escaped the confines of the compund and went wandering into the world. Much has happened to Hank during this time, most of which is unimportant to his story. What is important however is his affinity with NCs ever since his accident. Hank craves to drive an NC, as it gives him back the feeling of his legs. This deep emotional drive manifests in both an astounding 97% sync rate and constant phantom pain in the place of his non existing legs. Currently Hank's final staying place is with the Electrum Company, where his unusually high sync rate might just be enough to compensate for his other disabilities, like walking and advanced teamwork. Tactical Preferences and Skills: Hank's current NC is very versatile in the range of abilities it can utilize, yet Hank prefers simplicity. Always on the and offensive, he is the first in and last out when it comes to battles. Using his ranged capabilities when afar, Hank's ultimate goal is to get up close and finish off the enemy by either emptying his mags or knocking them out with a series of professional punches that he learned back in his Copr days. Outside of combat however, he has troubles dealing with even some of the most mundane tasks, his wheelchair severly limiting what he can do. Notes: Hank's perspective of reality is quite twisted and demented, not enjoying much in day to day life. The lack of his legs reminds him of an unfortunate past and the feeling of not being wanted, which drives him to sometimes sleep in his NC, and go AWOL for a stroll or two. ------ Code-name: Grumpy 1 Appearance: Body Type: Bipedal (duh) Type of NC: Assault/General Purpose Equipment & Armaments: - 30mm Assault Cannon chambered in 30mmx167mm APFSDS munitions with 3 mag cahnge - Automated twin mount 50.
