Class: Saber Gender: Male Birth and Death Dates: Unknown. History is muddled on the existence of all Jacks. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Personality: A truly lazy person. One to whom the idea of diligent work is anathema. Can’t bring himself to do honest work, but is oddly enthusiastic and willing to take “shortcuts” in order to support a lifestyle of “no work, all play”. Indeed, a man who would undoubtedly be classified as a NEET living off his parent’s dime in the modern day. Bio: Jack, a boy who planted magical beans and climbed up the beanstalk that grew up to steal from a giant. Jack, a man who slaughtered countless Giants until they no longer existed in Britain. Jack. Jack. Jack. A being that exists as the amalgamation of all the ideas of “Jack” proliferated throughout Europe with the “main” core being formed by the most well-known version of the Giant slayer. An example of a tale where cheating and trickery results in complete success. Perhaps not the best tale to tell children to teach lessons. A horrible human being who would willingly engage in get-rich-quick schemes, and might even make a profit out of it. Weapon: An enchanted saw that can cut but works better at chopping things down. Parameters: Strength: C Endurance: C Agility: C Mana: C Luck: B Class Skills: Magic Resistance: C Negates spells with a chant of two verses or less. Cannot defend against something more complex, like high magecraft or ritual curses. Riding: C He can perfectly ride things with the right breaking or adjustments. Personal Skills: Shapeshift: C The capacity to mold one’s body. While not an ability that Jack possessed in life, he gained this skill due to his status as being “all the Jacks that make up Jack”. He is easily capable of shifting his form to suit the look of another Jack, as well as turn back to his normal form. His capabilities do not degrade upon taking the new form, but remain the same. Uphill Struggle: B The quintessential idea of the “underdog” story. One does not fight giants as equals, but as “insurmountable obstacles to be overcome”. Living a life where his every action was to act against beings who surpassed him, Jack is extremely proficient in taking on opponents with advantages over him and defeating them soundly. Those who stand above him, those who outclass him in skill, those who overpower him, Jack fights them knowing his flaws, and wins. Grants a bonus when fighting enemies he has classified as “greater” than him, or those who stand above him. Giant Beast Hunt: A A skill that represents the tales of Jack as a “Giant Slayer”, combined with his most well known tale of killing a giant who chased him down the beanstalk. As the man who hunted down Giants to extinction in his tales, this grants him a bonus to damage against beings greater than him in rank. Disengage: B+ (D) The ability to withdraw from the battlefield in the midst of combat. As a character who never took on an opponent head-on, and ran away at every opportunity, Jack has gained an exceptional talent at running away unmolested. In particular, his skill in retreating shines when running from giants and their ilk. It falls to D however when running from those shorter than him. Noble Phantasm: Name: Theft of the Heavens Title: Robbing You Blind Rank: C NP Type: Anti-Unit Range: 1-50 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: Stealing the treasures of the giants met along the road. Stealing the harp and goose of the giant who lived in the sky. A noble phantasm that crystallizes Jack’s history of thievery both from foes alive and slain. Activating this NP allows for Jack to steal something from a foe either alive or dying, be it a skill, parameter, or perhaps even NP if it can be stolen. Items of importance can be taken as well. What is stolen is randomly chosen, however, if both Uphill Struggle and Giant Beast Hunt applies against the target, then it is easy to narrow down what Jack wishes to steal. Whatever is stolen can be retained by Jack by paying more prana, but this can be stopped by either dropping what is stolen entirely or “storing” it in his Bag. This NP is activated by Jack deciding upon a target and declaring the true name of the Noble Phantasm, which causes a bright light to emanate from Jack’s hand and then cover the enemy in a ball of the same light. First, an AGI check must be passed for the enemy to escape the ball of light to prevent the NP from taking effect. Then, a LCK contest is initiated against Jack once this NP is activated, with the contesting LCK scores changing his chance of getting whatever he is aiming to steal. The higher the margin of failure, the more likely it is for the NP to steal nothing, or end up stealing something else. If the target is dying, no check is required. Name: Bag of Mysteries Title: Put It In the Fucking Bag Rank: B NP Type: Anti-Unit Range: 1 Maximum Number of Targets: - Description: Upon trading the last cow his family had, Jack received a mystical bag that contained magical beans that sprouted into a Beanstalk. A “container of miracles”, the bag has transformed into a wondrous pouch not unlike an “item box”. Containing the spoils of Jack’s thievery as well as the original beans, this is now where Jack can put in the things he steals. Unfortunately, due to the lack of proper stacking, he can only fit three extra things of importance into the bag right now.
My Servant. Messed up on the first posting.
