Adè’s aggressive demeanor translates relatively well to her posture and presence, though at the end of the day she’s just another uppity soldier in a mass of hundreds. Her hair is a natural blonde and her eyes are green. Her physique is unsurprisingly athletic and well-toned, but she’s still a lithe girl with not much of a bust or build, though she is much brawnier than she looks.
[sub]Biography[/sub]

Adèle Ziegler’s father, Aldebert Ziegler was a member of Shiganshina’s Garrison members and one of the earliest casualties when a colossus titan attacked the city. It would be with his death that changed Adè’s life forever and cemented her destiny when she joined a slew of others as recruits of the military of Paradis. Before the attack Adè experienced a seemingly normal and peaceful childhood. She often got into fights when she was younger after some of the other, taller kids attempted to bully her due to the fact that she had no mother. Her father often lectured her, as did fellow members of the city’s garrison forces, though she remained to be a girl who was prone to finding herself getting into trouble whether it was the intent to do so or not. Her father found himself frustrated with the lively and rabblerousing daughter he had brought into the world and did his very best to try to set her straight. Adè found her father’s words more stinging than any paddle could have and while Aldebert never needed to physical discipline his child he often threatened her with such recourse if she didn’t find a better avenue to channel her energies toward. By the time of her thirteenth birthday the results of trying to engage her with more positive elements in the city (such as children less prone to tomfoolery) were starting to show fruit. It would turn out to be a tragedy that such positive reinforcement would be temporary.
[sub]Personality[/sub]

Adèle Ziegler is a brash, pompous, loud-mouthed, and abrasive young woman and her comrades either love her or hate her for it. Adè’s obsession with being the “best” is the catalyst to a genetic time-bomb of angst, unhappiness, and ire. It’s no secret that Adè has a plethora of issues that makes her difficult to deal with, though she doesn’t much care people find her difficult or frustrating. She wears their discontent like a badge of honor and when she isn’t scowling in discontentment she is smirking smugly as she mocks the person who has gathered her attention. In short, Adè isn’t interested in “making” friends and currently sees her comrades as likeminded acquaintances at best and superficial meatshields at worst. This disconnect can be seen as cruel and stupid by some, but it has protected Adè from her fickle feelings and insecurities. In part this is a ruse to push people away so that she will never have another emotional connection with another human being; she figures if she can be undesirable she will never be hurt by someone close to her being killed by a titan. She realizes it’s a jaded viewpoint to have, but it is the only viewpoint that makes sense to her at this point in her life. But is there someone beyond the jaded cynicism and petty retorts? Yes. While Adè pulls off her abrasive, self-oriented, and sardonic front well enough to fool the average person, a wiser and more perceptive individual will easily see that Adè is an emotional wreck that spends night curled up in a corner silently crying in the misery she has created for herself. When Adè was younger she was a hyperactive and never-ending ball of kindness who despite her feeling of invulnerability and confidence had none of the toxicity that she has forged as her “persona”. Really, she was a social animal who craved interaction; and at the end of the day, that little girl isn’t as dead as Adè would like her to be. A strong enough (or stubborn enough) person might be able to bring that side of her back from the depths of her soul. Possibly.
[sub]Statistics[/sub]

• Physical Strength: 13 • Speed: 16 • Teamwork: 3 • Leadership: 5 • Skill (Gear): 13
