Nyma

Day 5: Early Morning
Oh. Oooooooh. A goblin-sized spider, as it were, lied right before them, sitting upon its web waiting for prey. An interesting stance for pouncing that she took care to observe, how it sat ready to pounce, body still but tensed up and ready to catch prey or leap upon it as was needed. This being said, she was not ignorant of the danger that in reality sat before them, and how this information she observed about the spider might need to be put to good use right now. The trip here hadn't taken too long, the webs getting thicker and thicker, she'd been tempted to collect some but hadn't in favor of doing so on the way out instead. Such webbing could make a nice net, or perhaps something with which to build a trap. Perhaps it could be used for means of protection, even, around the cave in case wolves came by and got a bit reckless. She'd kept her eyes open, though, and the morning daylight had helped keep them from being caught up indeed. But now was the real test, and as she thought of a plan....she noticed something. Barth, standing just to the back and side of her, ready to throw his spear. He wasn't close enough to hit her at all, but she was close enough to be in the way if the spider attacked. Blast. 'What's does that idiot he think he's doing? We need to coordinate this, or at least be ready for an attack if he misses,' Nyma thought in her head, a light grimace on her face. However, intercepting to trying to stop the throw would not be conducive to this, she just had to roll with it and be ready. So, mimicking the preparedness of the spider and its behavior she had observed, Nyma had her spear extended out, legs and body adopting the same type of stance, ready to pounce at a hair trigger to lodge her spear into the spider if it leapt at them. Alternately, if the spider was hit and didn't leap she was ready to pounce at it all the same. In that sense, her stance was ready for either scenario, adopting the stance of a dangerous wild predator in order to defend herself or be able to lash out at a moment's notice. [@Jangel13][@Kheliop]
EXP: Inventory: -2 wooden spears, each made from a long, young tree with twig-sized branches having been plucked off. Its base is just thick enough to be considered a very small club head, and this part has been sharpened into a honed and very effective point with enough weight to balance the head and help it do more damage on impact. Gives a bit of reach like any basic weapon might, and has a healthy length, durability, and flexibility to also function very usefully as well. (1 is with her, the other left at cave) -1 young tree like the 2 others she already sharpened into a spear. The other was left to Goblin Barth, along with his walking stick. (left at cave) -3 rocks, one of them rather sharp, she has allowed herself and Barth to use to sharpen their sticks into spears for hunting and protection (left at cave) - - - Acquired Skills: -Knowledge Of The 3: Knowing the names of the god and goddesses of the world they live in they can now properly worship them. ***God of light Ramos he is the god of light and he gives us the very sun we see during the day he is purity itself and as such is mostly worshiped by most creatures in one form or another. ***Duvelna she is the goddess of death and night. She is death itself and must be respected if not feared. ***Shirila the goddess of the earth as she is the embodiment of the earth and life itself, she is also known as the eternal mother. -Fairy Knowledge: Now knows of the fairies (and nymphs) that inhabit the forest around her - - Titles: - - - Blessings: - - - Curses: - - - Skill: (the one she was born with) -“Connection to Nature”: Due to her innate and lifelong connection to nature she built up in her past life, as a goblin Nyma bears this skill/gift in her new life. This skill allows her to connect with things such as elementals, elves, forest spirits, and the like, which includes being able to communicate with them as part of this connection. Other: -Knowledge Where Animal In The Starting Forest Are ***The rabbits are easy to find, as they prefer bushes and berries they aren't hard to find. ***There are beasts known as vipers and they are snakes larger then yourself, dangerously poisonous if you use this cave as your starting point. They are found to the south east. ***Next are spiders and they are found to the northeast. Are also poisonous. (won't deal with at same time as vipers due to their separate locations) ***The wolves can be beaten however their threat is in their numbers and how they coordinate, never attack a pack alone as its suicide. They are found to the west, but during the night they travel to the east. They know better then to come in the cave, but outside you are fair game. ***Finally bats are usually found in the north, and prefer to hide in trees to avoid sunlight. Note: "Keep in mind the farther your travel from this cave the more dangerous the beasts."
