"Power can mean a lot of things," Gareth snarled, firing a blast of flame to thrust him in a direction perpendicular to the cruise-force push. ...Not that that was all too bad. Really, it was a lot like getting hit by a car. Even considering that the Heretic had compounded that with the acceleration from his TK push, Gareth had a good margin of reaction before the point of no return. Though, it [i]still[/i] felt like he'd gotten hit by an average car, and fractured some parts, at least he wasn't like the busted up wall behind him. "So you've never lost huh?" Gareth continued, nonchalantly making small talk as began mentally analyzing the battle's events during this calm in the middle of the storm, "You defeat all your enemies in one shot, and you repel their attacks just as easily..." His eyes widened, as if he made a stunning realization mid-sentence. Which he did, obviously. "...But then, what use would someone like you have for tactics?" He continued, having made a new plan of engagement. He stuck his hand out and caused a very, very bright flash of fire. Not to damage, but to disorient. "Sorry for cutting our fun short, but I can't die yet. I need to get some answers. There's no way they'd let a criminal just train up his abilities like that."
