[@Lyla] question: is it possible to play a "hero" who was only a hero to certain groups of people?

I'm thinking a Robin Hood-type character, a lovable rogue who rebelled against the aristocracy and was basically a champion of the lower class. Obviously this person wouldn't be so beloved by the people in power (and might even have been executed by them, which could play into a martyr-like legend).
