Valen couldn't help but blush slightly he had not really thought of Jarett as someone to flirt with a lowly wild Bosmer even if he had flirted first. Valen seemed more annoyed then worried but he still stood and gripped his bow.

"shit.. well that didn't sound good After you jarett" he said jokingly as he made his way to the door. Valen couldn't decide if this interruption was negative or positive he had never flirted with anyone beyond his betrothed so it made him very nervous and complicated.
this explosion might have saved Valen from making a fool of himself but at the same time it could be a fun distraction he would have time to think about it more in due time.
