Alex honestly wasn't even sure what to make of some of the nonsense that was coming out of some of these people's mouths. Like seriously, was now the time to be acting like this? But it wasn't like the girl was gonna try any stop them, not in the slightest, so instead of focusing one them, Alex bought her attention to something she thought was smarter. It was the youngest boy here, the one who introduced himself in an even weirder manner than herself, apparently investigating the area by climbing up one of the trees to get a better look of the land. She honestly didn't realize how long she was staring, but it looked like the boy managed some type of breakthrough as he immediately made his way back down towards the ground just as Carter asked if anyone had any ideas on what was going on. Of course she didn't have the slightest, but she could at least learn something from Aaric, who made his way over to Carter specifically. Taking this as her chance, Alex stood and dusted off her over sized t-shirt before shuffling over to Carter and Aaric nervously, the later explain what he managed to learn over the short span from their descent to now. The fact the sun was gone despite it being pretty light out was confusing and a little concerning, - Alex had to look up and around just in case - the unnatural, almost ley line like, paths on the ground, trees, and the sky sort of made the brunette uncomfortable. Could this mean that someone was here before them and created these lines for some reason? Or what it simply just a coincidence? Unsure of what to make of this new information, Alex looked up when Carter's head snapped quickly to the side. "Wh-What?" She questioned, confused by his sudden tenseness as she unconsciously scooted close to the two boys, yellow green eyes peeking towards the direction Carter was facing. Was someone there? Was it a person? Or simply the wind? Alex mentally prepared for both as she clasped her hands together tightly, prepared to run if she needed to.
