[@ShwiggityShwah] no worries man. Gwen is meant to come off as a bitch to most people. She only coddles the ones she finds interesting or can further her studies with. Otherwise she might try to play nice but other times not really.

And as for [@HowlsOfWinter] I'd have Octavia keep her distance before Gwen pulls a Flemath (from Dragon age) on her and tries to take over the young body :p. But a bit on the serious note and wanting to run it past you how about on the way back to civilization Shion teaches Octavia the basics and some tricks with a bow (simple things like how to aim and when is the correct time to draw the bow to prevent yourself from tiring out by holding the pull to long) and Gwen starts teaching her just the surface of tapping into her magic potential.
