Jacob, or maybe he should start thinking of himself as ‘Oberon’ slowly came around to consciousness. He felt groggy and lethargic, like he had been asleep for far too long, and when he looked around their little save he saw that he was indeed the last one to awaken. He also saw that their little cave was not so little anymore; it appeared that Digbie had been working away industriously to expand their living space while he was still sleeping. Leaving the Goblin to his work Oberon walked out into the slightly large space of the crevice, where Mourningstar was once again working with her mana to create something; her efforts seemed to be producing some improved results compared to yesterday as he could see that whatever she was making had a more defined shape this time around. Whatever it was though it didn’t seem to be a new spell just yet, though his Magical Analysis did show that she had created a new skill called Mana Shape. It seemed like everyone was working on something and it made him feel anxious. He had been practising like that yesterday, up until the Slime had attacked him and everyone showed up and he’d kind of lost track of things. It was probably time for him to start working on something himself and right now he couldn’t think of a better place to start than by trying to copy what Mourningstar was working on. Sitting down on the ground outside their little cave within a cave, Oberon held his hands out in front of him and started to focus. He tried to bring forth some of his magical power, but without putting that power into one of his two spells; neither of his spells were quite like the magic missiles he had seen the Wisps use. Neither Minor Heal nor Shield they didn’t work by projecting something at the target, they just kind of did their thing without him ever really seeing the mana; an instant cast time. It meant he didn’t really have any basis to work with for this spell or anything like what he wanted to do, which was basically to create a ranged projectile like the Wisps had so he wouldn’t be completely helpless should he end up fighting something alone. He wanted to start by just producing some mana first, shaping it into a ball, and then throwing that ball at something. After that, he had a couple of ideas. Eventually, Mourningstar stopped practising and announced that they should find some food. Oberon stood, though he didn’t stop his own practise and turned back to shout into the small cave behind him. [color=f49ac2]“Hey, Digbie.
