Kyo realized what would happen if Myra got into his memories and tried to shake her off. Due to his past issues with his abilities, he had some pretty scary, if not always logical, memories. Many of them involved general nightmare fuel. Among them, though, were some memories of his mother, which were actually pretty nice. 
He gave a small smile to Myra, half in apology and half in gratitude for her help.
