On the one hand, he is very protective and nurturing toward the false-life he creates, treating them more as his children and colleagues than as mere familiars and servants. On the other hand, he has nothing but scorn for most of humanity, particularly anyone who disdains his creations. He is arrogant to an extraordinary degree, believing his works to surpass humanity in both ability and temperament. He himself is no exception to his disdain, as some small part of him seems to know how far gone he truly is, and hopes that his New Life will grow to be better than him. His mania is only even somewhat abated by the presence of his Firstborn, Franziska, who is much her father's opposite in temperament- gentle, well-meaning, and compassionate, but fiercely loyal to his creator, whom he cares for dearly. Bio: Everyone knows the story of Victor Frankenstein- he who meddled with the pattern of life and death and brought forth an abomination. He who ruined the lives of himself and all those he held dear to him through his own hubris and selfishness. He who died an ignominious death, along with his Creation, in the Arctic, filled with regret. Yes, everyone knows this story... or, at least, one version of it. For the power of the Holy Grail is that of all worlds, all stories, an infinite kaleidoscope of variation. And so it is that the Grail has plucked a very different Frankenstein from the fabric of reality. For the question asked that caused such changes was this- what if Victor had not recoiled at the half-life he'd brought forth? What if, rather than reject, he had embraced and nurtured? What if Victor Frankenstein had loved his Creation, rather than seek to destroy it? Caster is a Frankenstein who never gazed upon the Blasted Tree, who never abandoned his passion for Alchemy. A Frankenstein who, when his Creation was raised, hideous though it was, saw only the potential housed within it. He thrilled as his Firstborn learned at speed, cared for it, named it, "Franziska," the daughter he'd always wanted. Victor cared for the Creation as his own child, excited, obsessed, impassioned by the possibilities of the life he'd crafted with his own hands. A pity, then, that others did not share his enthusiasm. Although Victor saw a daughter in Franziska, others saw only a monster. No matter how well-read or even-tempered she was, hers and Victor's peers scorned and mocked them as an abomination, and the defiler who'd brought him forth. Such hatred would end in tragedy, as some sought to destroy both doctor and creation, and Franziska killed one of her attackers in self-defense, forcing the rest to flee. The story was twisted, however, for their own ends, painting the Creation's actions as savage. For who could ever believe that such a monster was innocent of the crimes by which she stood accused? Humiliated and outraged by the accusations, Victor's sanity, already frayed from the scorn he'd received, snapped entirely. He looked upon his own kind with the same derision and disdain that he'd been shown in turn. Where once he'd sought to uplift his fellow man with his gifts, he now sought to tear them down. His obsession with his Creation consumed him. If humanity would not accept the New Life he had fashioned, then it would be replaced, burned down so he could start fresh. He would create a race as perfect as he viewed his daughter to be, one free from the corruption of their scorn. It is unclear what occurred after this- both Doctor and Firstborn vanished, fleeing their accusers for parts unknown. Perhaps, as in the more well-known story, the two wasted away in the dark of some dismal land. Perhaps they still lived, tinkering and tampering with bone and flesh, always chasing their ideal. Perhaps, in this Grail War, Victor can finally achieve his wish- of a humanity crafted by his hands, free of whatever he viewed as a flaw. Allows for the creation of Victor's workshop. Item Construction: C+ Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items. Victor was an Alchemist without peer, able to create life, or a semblance of it, with relative ease. Therefore, this skill is more potent when Victor is creating his New Life.

High Speed Incantation: B- Skill to speak magical incantations at an accelerated speed, being able to cast spells in half the time they normally would. This skill is weaker than normal in the presence of his creations, as his obsession and excitement toward them causes him to stutter and stumble over his words at times. Father's Obsession: C A double-edged sword. Victor's obsession with his New Life is exceptionally strong, to the point where he will disdain all others for the sake of his Firstborn, and all others who follow. As such, he is exceptionally resistant to outside mental influence, especially that which would turn him against his creations. However, the fatal flaw of this Skill is that he will also reject his Master's orders, if he deems them as less important or hazardous to him, his creations, and/or their goals. Bone-Shaper: B Victor is exceptionally skilled at manipulating flesh and bone through his Alchemy, and also being a capable medical doctor besides. If Victor or his creations are injured, he is typically able to repair whatever damages are inflicted, provided he can retreat to a safe place. He also needs any raw material required to make such repairs, and it is much more difficult to make such repairs to his own body than that of his creations.

Name: Azoth Title: Divine Spark of Life Rank: B NP Type: Anti-Army Range: 1-30 Maximum Number of Targets: 300 Description: A crystal container filled with living lightning, captured, bottled, and harnessed for Victor's use. This Spark is the key to Victor's craft, the power behind his unmatched talents. Azoth is potent enough to power almost any number of constructs, golems, and creatures that Victor may manufacture. Any mundane weapon or object struck by Azoth can also be granted a semblance of life for a brief time, obeying Victor's commands, though this ability is more effective the closer the object is to humanoid form. Note that this ability cannot affect objects with sufficient magic resistance; Mystic Codes and Noble Phantasms are beyond Victor's reach to control and manipulate, for obvious reasons. And finally, when all else fails, Azoth is, ultimately, lightning in a bottle, and perfectly capable of doing damage as a weapon in its own right. ==~== Name: The Firstborn Title: Falsely-Living Incarnation Rank: C NP Type: Anti-Unit Range: - Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: The first and greatest of Victor's creations, his Firstborn and cherished daughter, named as Franziska by her father. A hauntingly beautiful amalgamation of stolen flesh and metal, eyes glowing electric blue from the spark of life that animates her. Franziska is Victor's daughter, assistant, bodyguard, and vanguard- it is she who charges into battle in her father's place, doing what he cannot. In a sense, she acts as either an extremely-powerful familiar, or a pseudo-Servant to Victor. She is extremely hard to put down- even losing limbs will do little to dissuade her, should she decide you need to be removed. Moreover, the true strength of this Noble Phantasm is in its reactor, the "Bridal Chest." The reactor absorbs energy from Franziska's surroundings to power her, mimicking the skill of Galvanism, and also can discharge such energy as lightning to strike her foes. Finally, should Franziska be destroyed by any means, should the reactor remain, Victor can install it into a new body, or one of his other creations, which will alter the body in question into a new Firstborn, that his best and brightest creation might never truly die.
