Aiko has been known her entire life to be serious. Even as a child, she didn't play frequently with other kids. She finds simple pleasures in reading(Textbooks, anything that isn't education is a waste of time, especially manga.). She dedicates most of her time to studies and extracurricular events at school for any events and festivals. Although these events aren't very enjoyable to her- she puts on an amazing display in hopes that they will seem impressive to prospective universities.

Independent: Aiko was raised to take care of herself significantly from an early age. She rarely asks for assistance from her parents or older siblings, knowing that asking for help is a sign of weakness.

Smart: Usually the first to put their pen down, rarely having to double-check answers, Aiko has never struggled academically. Because of her stable academic life, she can enjoy downtime planning class festivals and reading her textbook in no hurry.

Cold/Distant: When you are independent and a loner your whole life, it becomes hard making friends later on. Aiko has a hard time expressing emotions to others, and can sometimes come across as mean. Aiko doesn't want to be mean, but she also doesn't like wasting her time on unnecessary things.

Too Serious: Along with being cold, Aiko strongly lacks a sense of humor. Other students will crack a joke and burst into laughter, but Aiko will just watch blankly, making her more distant from her peers.
