That was to be expected. He knew the Camp far more intimately than Bartholomew possibly could have unless his Paradox power was something like photographic memory, or the ability to always navigate his surroundings without being lost. Both of those abilities, as unglamorous as they sounded, would also be ridiculously useful in their own right. Especially for a mission like this, the map provided by Gil would be entirely redundant. And even if that were his power, his use of time was almost certainly less efficient that Gio's. But the fact that he was still left to wait here was not to his liking. He should have specified a timeframe in which to meet up. That way he'd be able to better clean himself and then arrive punctually, rather than standing around in the uncertain limbo of Bartholomew's schedule. Part of Gio wanted to go ahead and open up the portal immediately, so when the young Paradox did arrive, they'd be able to depart immediately. But it would be too soon. No, the proper time to set up the portal would come soon. Until then he'd just need to wait.
