[@Eviledd1984] "We have some time before she'll be back. Did you want to do anything while she's gone? Get some food or something?" Kara suggested. "Or anything else, really. Whatever you want, my love." [@bloonewb] Kali let him go and waited for a response. When one wasn't forthcoming, she paused, blushing slightly as she grew self-conscious about her very enthusiastic and public display of affection for Kutur. She looked away for a moment, scratching the back of her head with her right claw. "So... er... wanna get something to eat, handsome? Maybe you can tell me all about your trip. I'd like to know what Constantsea is like. I hear it's at least as big as anything in the Dracon Realms." [@SilverPaw] "Understanding the shapes is part of it. Summoning shapes aren't always a necessity, but they help to focus one's mana in a conjuring spell" Aerta clarified. "It's not as simple as 'this shape summons Earth Elementals' or 'archons can only be summoned by trapezoids' or something like that." She stood aside as she let Yssil give it a shot. "But in a broad sense, you are correct. If you understand the shape and attempt to conjure a creature, you will be able to do it, provided you have the mana for it. If you need a more specific guide as to what shapes go with what creatures, there's a book on that stand over there" she told him, pointing it out. "All it explains are the shapes and patterns. Actually casting the spell is up to you. Remember, we're sorcerers. We don't know how our magic works, and if you're like most sorcerers, you don't care. Take up the tome and make it happen."
