Honestly, playing siege isn't the issue. As long as you understand the basic story here, it should be fine. It's not going to be as aggressive and it will try to have a more realistic-esc feel to it, having character depth and real threats to team Rainbow and the public. There will be blood, essentially, and a lot of it.
