[@Duthguy] He saw the approaching wisp was carrying a healing herb, one just like what he consumed not a few minutes ago. Was it trying to help? Taking a closer look the wisp looked familiar. It is said that people recognize members of their own race better than others and maybe it was instinct but the identity of the wisp suddenly became clear. It was the one with the rats. As anger started boiling inside him again, he managed to suppress it enough not to attack him instantly. And as his anger rose the dark marks across his skin began to move around. They had gotten bigger than last time. Why would it bring healing herbs if it was chasing him to finish the job? Maybe it was a deception or maybe it was just carrying it to heal during a fight. Surprisingly he didn't feel any intense hatred for the wisp, not like he felt for that rat anyway. Maybe it was because they shared the same race, now and before, or maybe because he focused his hatred and blamed the rats rather then every monster. Just as you can't blame every human if one of them stabs you. "Don't worry, I have a healing herb for you." Oh? Now was it trying to help? Not when he actually needed it? He might as well be bluffing and waiting for Lorek to drop his guard yet again. "Now you want to help? Staying silent and witnessing an act of cannibalism from a fellow human while doing nothing and NOW you come here pretending to offer help?" He might've just been afraid. Many cowards aren't used to violence and their response is either fleeing or freezing. But that didn't make him any less of a coward, given that he wasn't pretending and waiting for an opening to finish him off. "If you value your life turn around now and go back where you came from." This was a mistake, he should just kill him now. But if he killed an innocent human again, what was the purpose of this second life then? If he could live with indiscriminately killing others, why even kill himself in the first place? All that he left behind would mean nothing if he just gave in to his anger. "If you were really planning to help, just leave the herb and go on your own path. Maybe find another group of humans willing to help you. If you go back to those vermin you won't last long before turning to their next meal. Entering the body of monsters doesn't mean you have to turn into a monster. One of them has already done so." Anger began to emanate from him as he said the last part. Monster, big filthy rats is what they are and he would kill them if it was the last thing he did. If not for revenge, then simply for the sake of others. Before losing himself in hatred again he said one last thing to the other wisp. "And remember, we were all handpicked by a demon to come here."
