Afraid? What would Penny have had to be been afraid of? At this moment she realised she knew very little about the older girl, despite how much she had been shoving her own problems on her. But deciding now wasn't a good time to pry into personal matters, they could do so on their way home, she simply nodded at Penny's words as she took the older girl's hand. This was fear she could somewhat manage, this was more akin to nerves at the moment than fear per say anyway. She had experienced far, far worse sensations than this. Like back in Crocus, with Mr Ducarthy... Shuddering at the memory, she did her best to keep stride with the older girl. Luckily they didn't have to go far to see the fish, she wasn't too sure how she would go at long distance travel by foot to be perfectly honest, having spent the at least last couple of years cooped up in a carriage sorta destroyed your stamina. Jasmine couldn't quite make them out very well from this distance, but the chances of these flying specks being anything other than the fish were slim. I mean what else could they be, a swarm of flying cats? pfft, that was silly. Cats couldn't fly. "S-sure are a lot of them." Ok, now she was afraid that was for certain. She wasn't sure how many she was expecting, but just from the specks alone, she estimated there must be what...one hundred? Two hundred? More? It was impossible to make out their exact numbers, but what mattered was that there was a lot of them. "Umm...Penny, what's that?" Noticing something flying straight at them, Jasmine tensed up. Surely they weren't close enough for any of the fish to spot them, no the large flock hadn't changed their distance all that much. Maybe they had caught the attention of some stragglers? Wait, this was too furry and small to be one of the flying fish this was...
"Bah, nothing can eat me unless I decide it. And obviously, that ain't happen anytime soon you fuckwit." Rajah proclaimed with pride and disdain, crossing her arms. How dare he even suggest that she, a supreme being beyond comprehension, would be eaten by such an insignificant creature such as that. It had been chosen as her food, it would've been honoured! Perhaps it felt it wasn't worthy of being eaten by herself and that's why it ran? Yes, that was surely it. Nodding to herself, she turned back to reality and the foot that Ignatius now presented her. It was a small offering, some bread and fruit, barely even a snack but she decided that it would suffice for now. It also meant she could spare her acolyte for the time being, and seeing as he was the only one she had at the moment that was useful. "That's more like Sir Ignatius." Snatching the food from his hands without a word of thanks, just a mere nod that somewhat resembled appreciation, she proceeded to gobble the food down in no time at all. She had finished the food just as Iggy spoke about people approaching, and he was correct that she wouldn't listen to him. But he was too late in going to grab hold of her; she had already taken off towards the poor unsuspecting duo. He was older and faster than him, but a headstart was a headstart and by now they were well and truly spotted by Penny and Jasmine as she came to a stop just above them. Hovering with her arms crossed once more, and an arrogant smirk that was second to none. "Ah, humans at last! You lowly creatures sure took your time finding your way here. Get down on your knees and beg and I might consider sparing you my wrath for taking so long to find your master!" With a tone that contained more disdain than an ocean water, Rajah now plopped onto a rock near them and gestured down at the ground. "Now, atone immediately! Get on your fucking knees and plead for your pathetic fucking lives and all will be forgiven! Bwahahaha!" Now the sight of Rajah wasn't intimidating in the slightest, she was way smaller than even the average Exceed and was basically just an oversized orange, striped fluffball. Even so, Jasmine took no time at all to scurry away behind of Penny. Was this a flying cat? Oh god, it was a flying cat. And it talked. It was also extremely rude, seriously rude. Just downright disrespectful and ill-mannered. What was this thing's problem? "What is that thing Penny? Is...is it dangerous?" It sure sounded dangerous to her. It seemed to have supreme confidence anyway, enough to make the timid girl intimidated that was for sure. [s]Not that's fricken hard to accomplish, the girl was probably afraid of her shadow[/s]
