Special Forces Group The Federal Bureau of Investigation Appearance Standing at a taller-than-average five foot six inches, Jamie is an athletically built white woman with long brown hair she almost always keeps in a tight bun or ponytail. Due to her extensive physical training that is required to be a woman in her position, Jamie is built strong but lithe. She has no piercings, but there is one tattoo above the right ankle of her foot; simply a full profile of a rose. In battle, she wears black and blue digital camo cargo pants tucked into black combat boots. Wrapped around her hips is a nylon utility belt with various satchels full of different types of ammunition. As a top she wears a simple and pocket-less bullet proof vest over a grey-tank top as seen above. She also straps on a traditional simple helmet that leaves her face exposed for a little more protection without sacrificing vision. Psych Profile Jamie is an strong-willed go-getter, fundamentally optimistic in almost all situations and confident in her own and her squadmates abilities. Humor is her coping mechanism with stress, even though she's only half-decent at coming up with witty things to say. Some would say she is overconfident in her abilities, and they would be right. She plays it aggressive on the field and believes expediency and swiftness are the most important ingredients in victory. Jamie also considers her shotgun, Slugger, to be one of her closest allies. Whether it's a healthy habit is up for debate, but her signature shotgun is one of her most prized possessions. Relationships Jamie absolutely idolizes the old operators. They are her heroes- though she doesn't know them well their work speaks for itself. She is immensely proud to be a new member of Rainbow but reason why devastated her. With big shoes to fill she wants- nay, needs to prove herself to them.
Stance in Combat Attacker-Defender. Close quarters is where she shines- and whether or not she enters the enemies close quarters or they enter hers doesn't really matter. The shotgun works either way. Operator Equipment [s]Slugger![/s] Extensively Modifiable SPAS-12 Multi-Purpose Shotgun. 9mm Beretta pistol. Flashbangs, so they don't see it coming. AR-15 if the situation demands a weapon with longer range, but she always prefers her shotgun. Most of the time she leaves her backup primary at home base because she hates the feeling of a clunky extra gun on her back and it gets in the way. Operator Ability Slugger is the affectionate nickname given to Jamie's SPAZ-12. It is one of the most advanced firearms on the market due to it's versatility and modifiability. Using intricate internal mechanics, Slugger is capable of twitching ammunition types on the fly. It is bulkier than most shotguns because of these mechanisms, but she is incredibly familiar with the weapon and it has been specially designed, so she manages. It also has an under barrel that is capable of more utility in combat. Ammunition Types: Shells- Traditional shotgun shells that fire out pellets in a spread. Slugs- Heavy metal spheres capable of longer ranges and hitting heavier- but no spread. AP Slugs- These ones pack quite a punch. Use in firefights in questionable, but it is decent anti-vehicle firepower and capable of penetrating some thicker walls. Under-Barrel Utility: Grenade Launcher- Capable of launching several types of grenades, including smoke, fragmentation, and flashbang. Taser- Can utilize electrical wires to disorient and paralyze a single opponent. Extremely difficult to use while in a fire fight because the gun is now attatched to an enemy via wires. Double Trouble- With a bit of preparation, it is capable of turning into a secondary barrel with the same ammunition types as listed above. This is capable of firing both barrels at once, or one at a time. Disadvantages: Pump Action or Double Barrel- While Slugger is excellent at taking down single targets, the time it takes to pump the gun for another shell means Jamie is temporarily vulnerable. Jamie will have to play around this, getting the jump on her enemies and either ending the fight before it has a chance to begin- or having extended firefights long enough for her to safely reload. Switch Time- It takes about thirty seconds for her to switch ammunition types and thirty seconds to switch into double barrel mode. This means she will have to do it before getting into a fight, as the gun is totally useless while switching. Short Range- While the Slugs do extend the effective range of Slugger, it is still not nearly as long as a rifle. Anti Personnel Only- Jamie shines in shock-and-awe tactics and eliminating enemies, but things like advanced situational awareness, breaching, and other support roles and things of that nature she will have to rely on her teammates for. Overall it is still much better than your average shotgun but it does have some disavantages.
Biography Born in the American Midwest to a family of four, her mother Delilah and her father James (thanks for the name, Dad), aswell as her older brother Martin. (Why not James. Jr?) Jamie was naturally inclined towards the athletic field and played soccer and participated in gymnastics and did quite well. Her mother was a guns enthusiast and passed the hobby down onto her. Jamie regularly played paintball and fired guns on the range. Her father was a mechanic and regularly worked on cars and had an interest in machinery. Meanwhile, her brother Martin was a full-blooded patriot. As you can see it's no wonder Jamie became a patriotic, mechanically enclined guns enthusiants. She in turn gave them a sense of enthusiasm and optimism that reinvigorated their interest in their own hobbies. It was an obviously pleasant homelife. She grew up a mentally stable and socially comfortable individual, though her want for activity never left her. Jamie wanted to leave. She'd enjoyed her time in her hometown, but cabin fever was beginning to set in. It was too cold, too slow, too boring and there was so much to do. Jamie also felt that while being a mechanic was great, she felt she wanted to participate more directly in protecting society rather than being a part of it. She continued to do well in school. Her brother was few years older than her and joined the military. Meanwhile, Jamie, ever the overachiever, eager to prove herself and full of wanderlust to leave her hometown of Bumfuk, Nowhere, eagerly awaited to do the same. That was until, unfortunately, her brother Martin was wounded in combat. Apparently, this made mommy and daddy very upset, and they wanted to keep their little girl safe. Well, Jamie wasn't too happy about her father's sudden desire to have her work in the shop with him...forever. This caused a bit of disagreement, as Jamie wasn't about to let her feelings of duty and obligation go to waste. So, she joined the police force as a compromise. Than, she joined SWAT. One could probably see where she's going with this. It felt a little low-down to go out of her way to become a front-line combatant on the SWAT team, but she wanted to do it. It was exciting, it felt honorable and like the right thing to do. For several missions, it went well. SWAT raids usually resulted in the criminals cowering away from the overwhelming onslaught of highly trained enforcers bursting violently into their secret hideouts. Jamie's track record was spotless. Nothing lasts forever, of course, and one group seemed much more dangerous than the others. It was a suicide mission to fire back against the SWAT, but they did, and Jamie lost one of her good friends Kilroy in the resulting fire fight. This was also one of the first moments where she used lethal force, and took part in ending the lives of seven enemy combatants. Whatever this group was, they were clearly insanely dedicated to their cause. That was the first time Jamie ever encountered the White Masks, and it wouldn't be the last. It was difficult not to hear about the Vegas massacre. All over the news, all over the world. The White Masks were not just a terrorist organization- they were practically their own nation state. They attempted to take the city for themselves. Shortly after, Jamie was contacted to be a new member of Rainbow- an organization dedicated to the purging of the White Masks. It is a highly elite organization and Jamie was so incredibly honored to be a member of Rainbow- she'll do anything to prove herself to the organization and honor the memory of the fallen operators. Training and Experience Instead of joining the Armed Forces, Jamie joined law enforcement. Naturally wanting to prove herself, she became elligible for more dangerous tasks, and took them. Eventually the FBI found a recruitable agent in Ms. Underwood, and accepted Jamie's application. She went on several missions and strikes against various nefarious entities, even shutting down a minor incursion of the White Masks. A spotless record of successful missions eventually resulted in contact with Rainbow, offering her a place on the elite team. Blown away, she accepted, and submitted an application to be responsible for fire support, and was (figuratively) blown away by her new gun, Slugger. Family James Underood, father: Currently worried and hurt that his daughter 'tricked' them by joining a Counter-Terrorist Agency instead of becoming a mechanic. Delilah Underwood, mother: Somewhat proud of the audacity of the attempt, but mostly nervous about her well-being. Martin Underwood, brother: Go get 'em, sis.
