Moving up along his eyes are a calm blue no matter the situation, just above that slightly longer than regulation red hair which he only ever cut if he must. His body is toned and well muscled however he'd never stand out in a crowd save for his higher than average height of just over two meters. Psych Profile Daniel no longer associates with his own name as much as does the call sign Spectre, as a ghost, he works well with a unit or solo. As most of our units operate with little in the way of oversight Daniel is exactly the kind of person you want when you need it done. Brutal, self-reliant, and paranoid everything the GST needs in an operator, this might not be a perfect fit for Team Rainbow. However having an operator who can provide overwatch and specializes in stealth is an asset, not a liability. Joining the military out of college Daniel started out an army as a combat engineer, however his marksmanship and talent with drones brought him to our attention. At age twenty-five, Daniel joined the army rangers, two missions, and a confirmed kill at just over two thousand meters saw him invited into GST. While he feels this transfer to a more controlled environment is unfitting, he does believe in the mission, perhaps more so, however, he wants to help team Rainbow take revenge. Daniel over the past few years has become more centered on his daughter, Katheryn whom he raises with the help of his mother and sister. He won a custody battle against his ex, a such he has been trying to retire from the special ops work but finds it difficult to due to the nature of the work and the fact he's unsure if he could truly leave it behind. He often worries about his relationship with his daughter and truly does want to be a proper father to her. Other out of actions reports that Daniel enjoys jokes and humor often his way of deflecting even while in the field. He is quite talkative about his home life, past, and even where he wants to go however he is very tight-lipped about his missions as a ghost almost to a paranoid level since the ghosts have conducted secret missions foreign nations soil even allies. Daniel has trouble opening and truly trusting people since as GST agent he is as much a spy as he is a commando. Relationships This can be simple as each character eventually interacts with them, but this will be updated more in detail as the RP goes along.
Stance in Combat Attacker - Defender Operator Equipment STAR-21 with suppressor - Primary M40A5 Sniper Rifle, with suppressor and thermal scope - Primary USP 40 with suppressor - Secondary Aerial Drone with magnetic - Primary Equipment Aerial Drone, with a thermal camera - Primary Equipment EMP Grenades - Secondary Equipment Smoke Grenades - Secondary Equipment Operator Ability Cross Comm System- Syncing his drone to his sniper sight and the advanced tracking software allows Spectre to have his drone take a position and help mark target actively even while he is not controlling it. Allowing Spectre to be a spotter and sniper in one.
Biography Born in Jacksonville South Carolina, Daniel grew up under an abusive and absent father his mother a junkie living uncaring for her son. Living in a trailer park, hiding from his drunken father’s beatings and listening to his mother cry as took them instead. Daniel found an escape through school, using his ability to learn as an escape from his terror-filled time at home. However, this ended in the second grade for Daniel, having stolen a neighbor's cell phone, packed a bag with food and forty dollars he made his move. Escaping his family's trailer then hiding in the bed of a truck he made it to a nearby gas station, where he called the police away from his father. Munching on junk food, he was picked up an hour and half later returning the phone and giving the neighbor the money to apologize. His father and mother went to jail on possession charges, leaving Daniel a ward of the state. He spent a few years in an orphanage first, still excelling in learning, Daniel was twelve before he finally adopted officially by a family. It is from here he takes his last name Matthews, Daniel's new family supported and cared for him were quite excited when he was accepted to college. His adoptive father passed away while he was in school, and realizing he needed to relieve some financial stress putting two children through college was imposing Daniel signed on with the army who paid the rest of his way through school. Becoming adept at using the latest tech offered to the army from drone marking to advanced map readout. He became obsessed with finding access to better tech, redoubling his efforts on and off the battlefield, he became a ranger and even more impressive sniper. If this seems to gloss over his time as a ghost it because we must, as you know director GST does not exist. Therefor every mission they could have completed does not either. Training and Experience Six was introduced to the GST through surveillance where she got to watch a four-man team of Ghosts go up against a drug cartels fortified base. She watched harden sicarios walk around through hacked surveillance cameras a contact provided her access to, it began in the warehouse the lights went out one after another a warning to the local captured workers to run. Then from the base’s speakers whined punk rock music, as if to announce the arrival of attackers. Four men in the guard towers fell over with perfect simultaneous shots on moving targets, and then the warehouse exploded with C-4 hidden among the drugs. The main compound went to action stations but found nothing as they scanned then shots rang out from a sniper just before a pickup truck slammed through the gates. Three Ghosts exited the vehicles firing on targets as they moved to hack computers for data. Any threat the team couldn’t see was handled by the sniper a drone above automatically marking threats. Once the team was inside the server room the sniper changed targets eliminating the remaining hostiles with extreme prejudice. In the five minutes, it took for the song to play out and end they had raided the compound in a lighting strike that secured them critical data and decimated an enemy stronghold with no casualties thanks to intel, sniper support, and teamwork. Critical assets the team Rainbow would need. Not a single survivor moments later the camera’s destroyed and the files deleted but Rainbow knew enough now.
