[@mercenarius]I refuse to not use the language I want to use because of people that automatically assume the worst of me.

 Also, the "Current Year" argument is a fallacy. It presumes that you're viewpoints are both automatically right and puts human progress on an arbitrary time scale, the point being that how fast society should adopt certain ideals is subjective. 

Also being condescending is no way to win an argument and frankly shows your close-mindedness towards other viewpoints.

[@Lyla] As much as I hate to say this and I don't want to be "that guy" but it offends *me* greatly that she refused to look up the word in order to prove that she was right before accusing me of racism, it also offends me that you would automatically want me to back down before both of us finish presenting our arguments.
