Specialist Devronian Arx

Dev paced in the hallways near the bridge, sighing at the lecture he begged not to receive. Unfortunately for him, she was right... to a small extent. He never was one for cleaning up his messes. "You don't have to treat me like a child, Astrid. You may be a damn good engineer, but I've blown the ever-living shit out of so many starships and buildings that I think I deserve a little bit of trust." Dev finally made his way back towards the bridge door. "Tango, the area is secure. Requesting permission to board." Within seconds the bridge opened up, and Dev gave a small wave towards the pilot before jumping down to the second level instead of using the ladder. Safety was for Civies and Engineers, not heroes. As soon as he was at the controls, Dev removed his launcher from his back and attached it right next to the console, a nice little upgrade he made himself. The Loadmaster couldn't get upset about the missing pieces if he wasn't around to... Dev paused as he sat down at his control station. Anderson was perhaps the only pure soul on the ship; a man who treated the Demolitions Expert with respect rather than as a common criminal. It had been a long time since Dev actually felt... grief? Dev shook the thought, but took a moment while booting up the console to speak back towards Engineering directly. "The first shot was an INC-34 Incendiary Grenade, custom built by yours truly to do minimal structural damage compared to the traditional model. Took a lot of time to get that mechanism into a less-durable container that wouldn't fragment as violently. A 34 degree arc with a 2 and a half second delay limited the fragmentation of the container upon the panelling as well. We're a team... so I'll try to keep that in mind when space rats invade our ship next time. The turret was locked and loaded, so Dev placed his hands on the controls, giving a small smile and hoping there was something to shoot. "The light is fucked though. Sorry about that."
