The King is dragging his entire army to the city. the chances of her killing the king and making it away without being identified is virtually nil

"Hyrule in chaos" also assumes the Queen holds total power, wouldn't have her position damaged by Nadijah's actions, and that Queen Zelda herself wouldn't condone restarting the war were an assassin to kill the King.
