Name/s: Loradenen Ayethis, "Lora" Race: Elf Appearance: Loradenen is short, and slim, but with the reasonable amount of muscle mass that comes from living a life like hers. Her skin is quite dark, her hair brown and long, and her eyes an earthy, dark green tone. Her clothes are generally extremely lacking (generally being a skirt and nothing else), as a result of her homeland being so hot and humid, and constant exercise further eliminating any desire for insulation. It is also culturally significant; a complex pattern of tattoos across her body tells the stories of her greatest ancestors. It would be disrespectful to hide them. Lora will generally have a longbow, a quiver of arrows, and a spear on her person at all times, as well as a pack containing a waterskin, a medicine horn, a dagger, a woodaxe, and whatever food she might have. Used to the rigours of surviving as a hunter-gatherer, she is extremely practical and a good survivor, but lacks social skill. She sees humans as a prey race, unlike the elves, who are predators; humans seem weak, dependent, and even pitiful, depending on the individual, but generally not worth the time it would take to kill them unless they break Clan Law (even if they do not know what Clan Law is). Again, like most elves, Lora has a strong sense of tradition, reflected by the tattoos that honour her most successful ancestors, her faith in the elven deities, and her respect for Clan Law. However, unlike most elves, she understands the human language. Even so, her knowledge of it is fairly limited, and she has had almost no experience dealing with non-elves, leading to a lot of difficulty communicating, and many strange surprises (Why do humans think those shiny circles are so important? What is the point of those big wooden tents that can't move? How have they lived this long when they can't even defend themselves?). As for Lora's skill set, she is a capable tracker and hunter, skilled in fighting with all her weapons (and without them), able to use and create certain herbal medicines, and quite stealthy. Background: Born to the Wolf Clan, on the border of elven territory, Lora was seperated from her clanmates while still young as a result of a monster attack. Many were killed, and though she escaped, the monster saw an easy meal in her and pursued Lora for several days, attempting to wear her down for an easy kill. Its patience was not rewarded, though, as the passing Hawk Clan set upon and slew the beast, allowing Lora to join them, until she grew up. Not feeling at home with her new clan, and not having her old one to return to, Lora left elven territory altogether, becoming the first in generations to see the outside world.

Name/s: Elves, Wood elves, Wild Elves, Fae Appearance: Elves are relatively similar to humans, but tend to be slightly shorter and slimmer, with some muscle but almost no fat. They usually have tattoos across their body, elvish runes which tell the stories of the individual's most heroic ancestors. It is a dishonour to hide these, except when doing so saves the elf's life, so most elves wear relatively little, generally nothing from the waist up. Most recognisable are the elves' ears, which are long and pointed, like daggers. Elves live much longer than humans, but how much exactly is unknown; they are reclusive, and rarely die of natural causes. They hold great respect to their ancestors, and have a strong tradition of oral storytelling, passed down from one generation to the next. The center of their beliefs is that there is a natural order in which predator hunts prey, and everything that lives is part of that order, and it is wrong to break that order. One notable element of this is that humans are considered prey, and elves predators. Elven clans are nomadic, and there is no organisation that passes between them except Clan Law; spend too much time hunting, and you may find your clan has left you behind, probably forever. Background: The elves share the humans' past as a tribal society, but never bothered with agriculture, which was almost impossible in the denser regions of the forest they lived in. The elves discovered many things so close to the forest's heart, and it left them with an almost totally alien mindset to those who had once been their siblings. Over time, they developed their own religion, magic, and culture, and have rarely ventured into human lands since.
[@Duck] Here are my applications. I may do a location at some point, but for the time being this is what I have.
