"Keep it together Tess!" The Blood Knight roared, "You break and your little boyfriend's getting swarmed!" "You think we can carve a path toward the front exit?! Put our backs to open air and just worry about letting them funnel in from one direction?! Hell, we might even be able to force the door closed behind us!" It wasn't a great plan, but he didn't hear anyone else coming up with anything.

Ailanthus_Altissima
• The Dungeon •
At Grave's quip, Tessa stopped muttering to herself, and tried to remain focused. With her mana draining, she had to consider the option of being more conservative, or just keep downing potions, but how long would that last? Which spells could she do without? Looking out she'd seen some of the slimes jumping around; so she couldn't drop her gravity field, since the slimes could be surprisingly agile at times. She had to keep her chains pushing them out of her circle or else they'd inch close enough to the core of the party. She could drop her electric field if she could trust those around her to kill the slimes quickly enough. Before she could make a decision, she heard Grave's suggestion to move to an exit. Looking to where he was indicating, Tessa saw Landon, with Redsky's help, blast an open path to the door. Eager to get out, Tessa automatically took a few stuttering steps, without warning, towards the door, causing her entire area of control to shift with her the same distance she had traveled. What this meant for the party was that the battlefield had moved slightly; those that were within her protection, but just on the edge in the opposite direction of the door, were now exposed. Realizing her lack of communicating her movement, she called out, "K-keep up, you lot! We're leaving!" Tessa quickly downed a mana potion, surprisingly optimistic that they were going to get out of here before she ran out of the blue stuff.
