Even in his off put state, this still shook him a bit, his lips pursing and he eyes peering at the impossibility before him, as if he could look the insanity out of existence. The Emendator encouraged his forward passage, and he steadied himself, resetting his mouth to a regular position, and striding through the door. He still was surprised as he crossed from 1940's Louisiana to 1920's Cairo, feeling his feet firmly plant themselves halfway across the world. Immediately, the arid climate attacked his throat, shocked from the humid air it was just becoming accustomed to. He coughed, taking in small breaths to try to adjust as quickly and comfortably as possible. He took a glance back as he heard the door shut behind him, to see it had now become a wall of solid brick. Keeping his mouth shut was not something Bart was the best at, but he was not in the business of pissing off the man who could leave him stranded here. The fear of being a stranger in a strange land was more than enough to keep him on his best behavior. Straightening his jacket, and angling his head slightly downwards in an effort to keep the sun out of his eyes. He wanted to look at everything but tried as best he could not to gawk. He followed after Gio, but let his eyes wander and examine what was around him, trying to seem as discreet as he could while taking in the impossibility in front of him. Even with his worrisome realizations, he couldn't help but have a small smile on his face, this was the stuff of legends after all. He was reminded of his childhood dreams of escaping and going somewhere his parents couldn't reach him, for which this was quite literally a realization. Even though it took him dying and falling into a world of unknowns, he couldn't help but think that in a way, this was worth it. He didn't know what that said about him, but he supposed he would inevitably find out.
