Mae-Ling is a daughter of the noble line inheriting these powers and responsibilities. Powers include:[/indent][list][*]Bolstered speed, strength, agility, mental fortitude, and endurance. Along with a minor healing factor.
[*]Beckoning the powers of Húshén, the Fox Goddess, she becomes enveloped in ethereal blue light that displays fox like features. Though it just seems like shiny blue like, the claws and fangs are very dangerous and sharp.[/list][/i]

[indent][i]Mae-Ling holds the Fox Goddess Húshén within her very body. Through a special tonic of Viper Venom, rice wine, and an array of ritualistic herbs she keeps the Goddess appeased and weak enough for Mae to keep her tamed. Without her Tonic Mae will lose her hold over Húshén, it beginning to wreak havoc on her body as she tries to keep the Goddess restrained. If gone too long without the Tonic Mae's body will begin to damage, scratch marks appearing across her body in increasing degree as Húshén tries to remove herself.[/i][/indent]

[*][b]Home Cook[/b] - Having spent a lot of time in isolation within the Temple Mae-Ling became a self learned cook. Spending most her free time outside of combat training cooking special dishes she learned from watching the cooks of the temple.[/list][/i]

[i][indent]Mae-Ling Yu, Daughter of Feng Yu; the former Aether Fox. Being the daughter of the Noble Line she was to be groomed to become the new Aether Fox. Mae took great pride in her heritage. Eagerly taking to her training and always putting in her best effort. Like her father she was a natural. Because of the simplistic lifestyle within the Temple Mae-Ling took to cooking to pass her free time. Learning from watching those in the kitchen. When given the opportunity she would cook alongside them.

Though knowing she would not become the next Aether Fox until her father was either too old or killed she didn't expect to inherit the Fox Goddess for some time. So when the news came back that her father was killed combating a foreign threat she was completely shocked. Retrieving Feng's body they prepared Húshén's removal. Mae-Ling, stunned by the news, she knew her duty. She prepared herself, forcing away the emotions that swelled from her fathers passing. Though Mae-Ling's training was incomplete she was the only one that could hold the Goddess.

After the ceremony was completed and the Fox Goddess sealed within her she became the next Aether Fox. She continued her training as planned after taking on the mantle, even if sooner than expected. As time went on a thought persisted in Mae-Ling; If only her father had Back up he might still be alive. Against the Monks advisement Mae-Ling left the Temple to join the outside world. To join fellow heroes to help protect the world on a wider Scale. That was when she was discovered by Nightwing and recruited into the Teen Titans.[/indent][/i][/hider]
