A little too mature for his age, Oliver prefers to sit quietly with a book rather than run around with the other children his age. Oliver longs for friends, although he will never admit it. Making friends can be difficult, however, when you have a sharp tongue.

To escape his loneliness, Oliver tends to bury himself in his school work. He is smart, though not uniquely so, and most of his success in school comes from hard work rather than innate intelligence. Oliver suspects this is why he wasn’t sorted into Ravenclaw with the rest of his family. In truth, Oliver was likely sorted into Slytherin for his ambition. He is not the type to stand idly by when an opportunity presents itself.
